This set, with a King of 3.5 inches high (all the pieces have a base of 1.125 inches wide), is perfect for casual games and analysis. Although I would prefer 3 lbs, with its 2 lbs of weight is not bad. The pieces are beautiful by its slender forms and on squares of 2 x 2 inches their looking is splendid.
I like the Russian model by the Queen without tips in the Crown; in addition, the Knights, Bishops, and Pawns are of a unique beauty.
I look forward to finding this set in Sheesham.
